Weald Group Campground

Information
The Weald Group Campground is located on the banks of the Embarras River, a quiet and meandering stream flowing out of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The campground is well suited for groups – the site provides an excellent venue for families and friends to enjoy each other’s company and the outdoors.
The campground contains a large shelter, but the fireplace in the shelter is no longer available for use.
Activities
Fishing for rainbow trout, whitefish and bull trout in Embarras River is the main recreational activity. There are hiking opportunities on non-maintained trails in the area. The group campground also has a picnic shelter, a number of large grassy fields for sports, a group fire-pit area, and horseshoe pits.
How to Get Here
When travelling west from Edmonton on Highway 16, continue through the town of Edson to the junction with Highway 47, turning left towards the community of Robb. Travel approximately 29km along Highway 47 and look for signs on the left indicating the Weald Group Campsite. Follow the gravel access road 800m to the campsite.
The road is accessible by two-wheel drive.
Fees
There is a fee of $185/night. There is a reservation fee of $12/night.
