Information

The Fickle Lake Campground is located on the eastern shore of Fickle Lake, and is a popular fishing destination for local and visiting anglers. It is also a great lake for just paddling around, enjoying the birds and waterfowl. Along with the 36 campsites, a day-use area, with a boat launch and dock, provides excellent picnic opportunities.

How to Get Here

When travelling west from Edmonton on Highway 16, continue through the town of Edson to the junction with Highway 47, turning left towards the community of Robb. Travel approximately 21km along Highway 47 to an intersection consisting of the Sundance Road (West Fraser logging road) to the south, and another gravel resource road to the north. Watch for a sign indicating Fickle Lake Provincial Recreation Area. Follow the gravel resource road north for approximately 7km, and then turn right. Follow this road for approximately 700m, stay right at the fork and continue another 1.3km to the campsite.

The road is accessible by 2-wheel drive.
