Foothills Recreation

West Fraser manages forest lands in Alberta. Within our Hinton Forest Management area, we are a founding member of the Foothills Recreation Management Association (FRMA), which currently maintains and manages 22 different campgrounds near the communities of Hinton, Edson, Robb and Cadomin.

Swan Hills Recreation

Through the Swan Hills Recreation Partnership (SHRP), Blue Ridge Lumber manages five campgrounds around Swan Hills. Members of SHRP include Blue Ridge Lumber, the Lands Division of Alberta Forestry and Parks, the Town of Swan Hills, Top Height Forestry Contracting Ltd, Turple Contracting Ltd, Aspen Lead Energy, and Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL).
