Active Engagements

 

West Fraser Mills Ltd. is proposing Amendment 3 to Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) #651 for the Lakes Timber Supply Area.

The amendment includes:

  • An update to the definition of a Partial Cut System within the Interpretation section.
  • An exemption from specifying a result and strategy for the Visual Quality Objectives for VLI Polygons 247 (Babine Lake) and 279 (Taltapin Lake) in the Lakes North Forest Development Unit, to enable harvesting of stands damaged by the 2023 Fisheries Fire (R11277).

The proposed amendment is available for public review and comment from February 25, 2026, to April 26, 2026, at:
