Cariboo Forest Stewardship Plan
The Cariboo Forest Region encompasses three Timber Supply Areas (100 Mile TSA, Williams Lake TSA and Quesnel TSA) that are governed by the Cariboo Chilcotin Land Use Plan. The Region supplies logs to three West Fraser-owned sawmills (100 Mile Lumber, Williams Lake Sawmill and Quesnel Sawmill), two West Fraser-owned plywood plants (Williams Lake Plywood and Quesnel Plywood), one pulp mill (Cariboo Pulp & Paper) and an MDF plant (WestPine MDF).
This FSP will cover our operations in the 100 Mile TSA, Williams Lake TSA, & Quesnel TSA. An approved FSP guides the harvest of timber and construction of roads within a forest development unit (FDU).
Site Level Plans are developed for all harvest plan areas consistent with the local FSP. Site Plans are available to the public, upon request, at the divisional office listed below.
