West Fraser has an opening for a qualified Maintenance Supervisor at our Angelina Sawmill, Lufkin, TX Lumber facility. The successful candidate will provide leadership, training, and development to hourly personnel by managing the process flow, resources and workforce to meet and exceed established budgets and performance objectives. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Superintendent in this full-time role, the successful candidate will lead a maintenance crew of Millwrights, Electricians, Welders and Contractors. Higher consideration will be granted to those who have previous experience in the wood remanufacturing sector in a Sawmill, Planer Mill or with forest products.

In general, all Millwright roles are required to plan and perform all maintenance and repair operations necessary to keep plant property, equipment, machinery, and tools in good operating condition; diagnose problems and work in many varied and diversified capacities required in general maintenance, overhaul, and repair of plant equipment processes and facilities. Periodically perform or assist others in routine to moderately complex repairs or installation of automatic electrical and electronic controls.
