Sales Representative-Engineered Wood Products

Our Toronto office is currently seeking a Sales Representative, Engineered Wood Products (EWP) to join our high-performing team

Reporting to the Director, Panel Sales, you’ll be part of a collaborative sales environment focused on driving value and delivering service excellence. Your goal? Maximize mill margins and sales returns, while deepening relationships across the North American EWP customer base.

You'll do:

  • Implement sales strategies that maximize margins.
  • Develop relationships and understand needs with the North American EWP customer base.
  • Manage customer inquiries regarding availability and pricing of EWP products
  • Collaborate with our field and internal representatives, mill and logistics staff, to manage our programs, sales orders and production.
  • Manage offsite remanufacturing programs
  • Keep current and report on EWP markets, trends, and sales orders.
  • Enter sales orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Follow customer orders through delivery and service accounts thereafter
  • Attend customer meetings and trade shows across Canada and the USA.

You have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary education in Business, Forestry or Engineering.
  • Knowledge of EWP markets and/or the panel and lumber industry manufacturing process would be an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience with a track record of performance in a similar field or related industry.
  • A self-motivated team player with a sense of urgency and flexibility to work until the job is complete.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to strategize, plan, execute and report.
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to travel across North America.
  • Ability to work in an open environment and to collaborate effectively in a highly interactive team environment.
  • Fluency in both English and French would be an asset.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Bring a high degree of honesty and integrity to all situations.
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Power BI.

  • The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.
