Sales Enablement Specialist
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of Sales processes, training, and enablement resources. The Sales Enablement Specialist works with Sales and cross-functional partners to understand how work is performed, translate complex processes into clear and practical guidance, and maintain materials that help employees perform their roles consistently and effectively. This position contributes to the organization by improving new-hire onboarding, increasing adoption of standard Sales processes, and providing Sales employees with current, accessible resources covering the end-to-end sales lifecycle, including customer setup, quoting, order entry, fulfillment, delivery, invoicing, and related activities.
What You Will Do:
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve onboarding, training, and enablement materials, including job aids, presentations, videos, and other learning resources that help Sales employees ramp up quickly and perform effectively.
- Document and maintain sales processes, procedures, business rules, and Sales Operating Guides, translating complex business activities into clear, practical guidance and job aids.
- Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to gather information, document ways of working, identify process gaps, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a centralized repository of sales documentation, training resources, and operational standards, ensuring content remains current, organized, and easily accessible.
- Support the communication, training, and adoption of new processes, systems, policies, and operating standards through workshops, training sessions, and related learning activities.
- Develop working knowledge of West Fraser's products, customers, systems, and end-to-end sales processes to effectively support enablement and process documentation efforts
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Education, Organizational Development, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- 0-3 years of experience in sales, sales operations, training, customer service, business operations, or a related field preferred.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to create clear, concise, and well-organized procedures, job aids, training materials, and business communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint; experience with process documentation, training content development, or business systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
