West Fraser's North Central Woodlands Division is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in the beautiful Lesser Slave Lake region of Alberta. This is an opportunity to take ownership of harvesting, road construction, hauling, and silviculture programs while working alongside a team of experienced forestry professionals committed to safety, operational excellence, and environmental stewardship.

Why This Role?
As an Operations Supervisor, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable forest operations across one of Alberta's most productive forest landscapes. You'll work directly with contractors, government agencies, planners, and silviculture teams to ensure operational success while building a rewarding long-term forestry career.

You'll Do:

• Lead and supervise harvesting, road construction, hauling, and related field operations.
• Ensure production, quality, environmental, and legal requirements are achieved safely and cost-effectively.
• Manage contractor relationships and oversee operational performance.
• Coordinate with government officials, planning teams, and silviculture professionals.
• Develop and implement operational plans.
• Support and oversee silviculture projects that contribute to long-term forest sustainability.

You have:

• Registered Professional Forester (RPF) or Registered Professional Forest Technologist (RPFT) designation in Alberta, or eligibility and willingness to obtain designation.
• 2–4 years of forestry operations experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• A passion for operational forestry and sustainable forest management.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
