Management Forester

West Fraser's Woodlands Team at our North Central Division is currently recruiting for a highly motivated, professional Management Forester. This full-time role plays a key part in strategic and operational forest management planning:  

You'll do:

  • Support development and implementation of the Detailed Forest Management Plan
  • Execute Growth & Yield monitoring programs
  • Prepare and submit FRIAA projects and reports
  • Participate in Caribou and Subregional Plan development
  • Liaise with Alberta government and stakeholders
  • Track and report timber production
  • Administering land use activities

You have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Career-minded and highly motivated
  • Proficient in GIS and analytical tools
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • RPF or RPFT designation (or eligibility to obtain).

Assets:

  • 3–5+ years of relevant forestry experience preferred
