Logistics Summer Intern

This is 4-month term (May to August), supporting the Export Team as an Export Documentation Intern and will be reporting to the Senior Manager – Shared Services North American Logistics.  

The Export Documentation Intern will work with the Export Documentation Team to manage all aspects of export documentation across all West Fraser commodities to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant international shipments.

You'll do:

• Export Documentation Review and Preparation
• Export Customer Invoicing and Order Processing
• Vendor Coordination and Freight Invoicing
• Export Documentation Claim resolution
• Engagement with Vendor Partners to provide support to meet Customer’s needs  
• Assisting with other duties and projects as required

You have: 

• In progress post-secondary education
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and be well organized
• Effective communication and coordination skills and would be expected to interact with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with documentation systems is a plus
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• The following knowledge/experience (an asset): export documentation requirements / international shipping procedures

• The typical salary range for this position is $3,565 to $3,895 per month and may vary depending on location, education, and relevant experience.
