Log Scaler - Weighmaster

West Fraser offers a range of exciting career opportunities for individuals seeking challenging and rewarding careers. Quesnel Sawmills is currently recruiting for a Log Scaler- Weighmaster

You'll Do:

  • In scale weighmaster, in scale stratification of log loads;
  • Participation in the log scaling and log quality;
  • Participation in the accuracy of the log yard inventory;
  • Scale yard safety leadership;
  • Other duties as assigned.

You Have:

  • BC Scaling License, but not necessary;
  • A knowledge of Weighwiz and LIMS software programs;
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented;
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety;
  • Class 5 driving license;

Compensation Package:

  • The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.
  • Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays.
