Insights Summer Intern

As a 4-month term (May to August), you will be supporting the Insights Team as a Data Analyst Intern, and reporting to the Senior Manager – Strategy & Insights.  

The Intern will work with the Insights Team to support our Sales and Logistics teams by creating high‑quality documentation, mapping processes, and helping document how information flows from different data sources into BI Dataflows.

You'll do:

• Document data workflows and reporting logic, including data sources, transformations, validations, and refresh cycles.
• Create and maintain process documentation such as SOPs, process maps, checklists, and reference guides.
• Support data governance by cataloging datasets, defining data fields, and helping standardize documentation templates and frameworks.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and accessible across the organization.

You have: 

•  In progress with post-secondary education
•  A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and be well organized
•  Effective communication and coordination skills and would be expected to interact with internal and external stakeholders
•  Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with documentation systems is a plus 
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• The following knowledge/experience (an asset): Data Analytics, Data Governance

• The typical salary range for this position is $3,565 to $3,895 per month and may vary depending on location, education, and relevant experience.
