Benefits Coordinator
This entry level position provides the opportunity to support aspects of employee benefits on a day-to-basis but will also allow participation in a wide range of complex and challenging benefits projects. This role will help the department’s operational efficiency and enhance the Company’s benefits programs through process improvement and cost savings. The Company has an established history of significant acquisitions and transactions that requires efficient implementation of employee and benefits plan integration and ongoing benefits administration.
What you will do:
- Administers employee benefits such as life, health, dental and prescription insurance, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, wellness plans, disability plans, employee stock purchase plan, retirement savings/pension plans, and COBRA in accordance with plan documents and company policies/procedures
- Approve new hire and qualified life events
- Complete Qualified Medical Support Orders
- State New Hire reporting
- BCBS Error reports
- WEX Error reports
- Conduct deduction audits
- Manage the dependent verification process
- Observe and identify process improvements to reduce/eliminate production error
- Special projects and other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) applications and HRIS databases is required
- Analytical/Technical Skills
- Detail Oriented
- Empathetic and service-focused approach to employee support
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
