Application System Administrator, ERP
West Fraser offers a range of exciting career opportunities for individuals seeking challenging and rewarding careers. Our Information Technology group in Quesnel, BC is currently recruiting for an Application Systems Administrator, ERP.
You'll Do:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot technical issues with Oracle EBS application
- Perform patching, cloning, migration, and upgrades of Oracle Applications
- Provides technical support and guidance to end-users, and other IT resources
- Monitor system performance, define baselines and benchmarks for Oracle EBS environment
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions for business needs
- Collaborate on definition of standards and contribute to the overall architecture roadmap
- Coordinate environment configuration activities to ensure integration and alignment with other internal and external IT technology, processes, systems, applications, and environments
- Coordinate with vendors and support teams on problem resolution, design issues and upgrades
- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps related to Oracle Applications.
- Implement best practices, ensure data security and integrity for Oracle Applications
- Support other Oracle EBS Add-Ins Excel4Apps/Office 365 and cloud-based apps integrations
- Stay updated on Oracle technologies and recommend improvements to the Oracle environment.
You have:
- University degree in Computer Science or related information technology degree/diploma
- Driven and able to learn new technologies in short timeframes
- Critical thinker and have adept problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both technical and non-technical scenarios
- Positive and people-oriented personality that is action-oriented.
- Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.1.3 and above and Oracle Databases: Oracle 12c or higher
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Languages: PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Java
- Web: Oracle Apex, Webservices, Oracle Forms, OAF pages, Oracle tools IAS, Oracle WebLogic
- Have working knowledge of Protocols: TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, SFTP, Version Control: SVN
- Operating Systems: Windows 2012-2019, Oracle Linux 6-8
- Tools: MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, Teams, SharePoint, Jira, SQL Developer, ServiceNow
Compensation Package:
- The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The yearly salary range is between $74,500-$83,860
- Annual bonus opportunity
