Mr. Ferris joined West Fraser in 1997 and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.  In April 2018, Mr. Ferris became President and in June 2019, became Chief Executive Officer.  Previously, he served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer from 2016 to 2018 and prior to 2016 was Vice-President, Wood Products.  Mr. Ferris is a professional engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.

Mr. Virostek joined West Fraser in 2017 in his current role and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Masonite International Corporation, leading its acquisition and divestiture activities in North America, South America, Europe and Africa and earlier was Vice President, Finance.  Mr. Virostek holds an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration degree with distinction from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Chartered Accountant.

Mr. McLaren began his career with West Fraser in 2005, as GM of the Williams Lake Sawmill, when West Fraser acquired Weldwood. He became President, Solid Wood in February 2021 and is currently based in Germantown, Tennessee. Previous roles at West Fraser include Vice-President, U.S. Lumber in February 2016 and Vice-President, U.S. Lumber Operations in October 2010. Mr. McLaren holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary and is a Chartered Professional Accountant in British Columbia.

Mr. Burke was appointed to his current role in 2021, following Norbord’s acquisition and is based in Greenville, South Carolina.  Mr. Burke joined Norbord in 2001 and was appointed Senior Vice President of North American Operations in 2018.  Prior thereto, he held several progressively senior operating positions in both North America and in Europe, including Vice President,  US South Operations and Director, European Operations Excellence as well as Managing Director, Cowie Facility.  Mr. Burke holds an MBA degree from University of Edinburgh, Scotland and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Rochester, New York.

Mr. Carter joined West Fraser in 2000 and is based in Quesnel, British Columbia.  He was appointed Vice-President, Western Canada Operations in 2021. Previously, in 2016 Mr. Carter was Vice President, Pulp and Energy Operations, in 2015, he was General Manager, Pulp Operations, in 2014 he was Operations Manager, Mechanical Pulp and in 2008 was General Manager, Quesnel River Pulp.  Mr. Carter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria.

Ms. Lampard was appointed to her current role in February 2021, following Norbord’s acquisition, and is based in Toronto, Ontario. Ms. Lampard joined Norbord in 1996 and was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in February 2008. Prior thereto, she held several progressively senior financial management roles including Vice President, Treasurer. Ms. Lampard holds an MBA degree from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Mr. McIver joined West Fraser in 1991 and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.  He was appointed Senior Vice-President, Marketing and Corporate Development in February 2021.  Previously, Mr. McIver was Vice-President, Sales and Marketing and before February 2016 was Vice-President, Lumber Sales and Corporate Development.  Mr. McIver has held various roles within industry organizations and is currently a Director for the Canada Wood Council, US Woodworks, the Endowment for US Forests and Communities and a member of Forestry Innovation Investment BC’s advisory council.  He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.

Mr. McMeekin was appointed to his current role in February 2021, following Norbord’s acquisition.  He is based in Cowie, Scotland. Mr. McMeekin joined Norbord in 1999. He held senior finance and logistics positions in Europe prior to his promotion in May 2010 to Vice President, Finance and Operations Europe where he was responsible for the operation and financial performance of Norbord’s four European sites. In February 2018, Mr. McMeekin was promoted to Senior Vice President, Europe. Mr. McMeekin’s earlier experiences prior to Norbord include engineering and auditing. Mr. McMeekin is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a degree from Strathclyde University.

  Mr. Caputo joined West Fraser in 1986 and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He became Vice-President, Human Resources in January 2021.  Previously, he was Director of Human Resources and before September 2018 was General Manager, Human Resources. Mr. Caputo is a Human Resources generalist with an operations focus.  He has a Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta; a Master's degree in Business Administration from Athabasca University and is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).

 Mr. Fort joined West Fraser in 2017 and is based in Germantown, Tennessee. He became Vice-President, U.S. Lumber Operations in January 2021 and previously was General Manager, West Region and a Regional Manager prior to that. Mr. Fort has over 37 years of progressive experience in the Southern Lumber industry including positions at WestRock Company, MeadWestvaco, Weyerhaeuser and Potlatch Corporation.

Mr. Gorman joined West Fraser in 2015 and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Previously, he was President and CEO of the Council of Forest Industries, which works in support of the British Columbia interior forest industry and President of the British Columbia Lumber Trade Council. Prior to joining the forest products industry, he worked as a senior official for the Government of British Columbia, most recently as Deputy Minister of Education and Deputy Minister of Advanced Education.  Mr. Gorman holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from McGill University.

Mr. Laundry joined West Fraser in 2005 and is based in Quesnel, British Columbia.  He became Vice-President, Canadian Plywood, MDF & LVL in January 2021.  Previously, he was General Manager, Wood Products, before February 2020 was General Manager, Engineered Wood and Panels and before July 2018 was a Regional Manager.  Mr. Laundry holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from the University of British Columbia.

Mr. Plante joined West Fraser in 1996 and is based in Quesnel, British Columbia.  He became Vice-President, Canadian Lumber in January 2021.  Previously, he was General Manager, Wood Products, before February 2020 was Regional Manager, Canadian Lumber and before April 2016 was General Manager, Chasm Sawmill.

Mr. Stubbington began his career in 1986 when he joined Norbord and is based in Toronto, Ontario.  He was appointed to his current role in February 2021, following Norbord’s acquisition. Previously, he was Vice President, Sales of Norbord and before January 2018 was Director, North American Sales of Norbord. Mr. Stubbington holds a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Forestry from the University of Toronto.

Mr. Tobin joined West Fraser in 2005 and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.  He became Vice-President, Lumber Sales in January 2021. Previously, he was General Manager, Canadian Solid Wood Sales. Matt has 16 years of progressive experience with West Fraser and is responsible for refinement and execution of our sales, marketing, and logistics strategies for wood products.

Mr. Watkins joined West Fraser in 2012 and is based in Memphis, Tennessee. He became Vice-President, Capital and Technology in February 2020.  Previously, he was Vice-President, U.S. Lumber Manufacturing and before February 2016, was General Manager, U.S. Lumber Manufacturing. Prior to joining West Fraser, Mr. Watkins was Director, Operating Companies for Rex Lumber. Mr. Watkins has a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from Thomas Edison State College.
