West Fraser’s McDavid, Florida location has an opportunity for a Millwright. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright will be a key player in a company-wide continuous improvement effort through daily use of troubleshooting and predictive, preventative maintenance strategies. West Fraser is hiring Operator Apprentice's at their sawmill in Maplesville, Alabama

The Operator Apprentice position is an entry-level role with the expectation that self-motivated individuals will advance into progressively skilled positions. The successful applicant will be allowed an appropriate amount of time to train for this job and must be willing to cross-train within any department. Rotating shifts would be two weeks on days (6am-6pm), then two weeks on nights (6pm to 6am).

West Fraser's Joyce, LA location has an opportunity for a Purchasing Supervisor.

At West Fraser, our Area Production Lead reports directly to the Area Manager and is responsible for ½ of the mill's production process, as it is split between inside and outside. The Area Lead is expected to continually develop and refine their supervisory skills through the training and development of Mill Support Techs and become experts in the area they are responsible for, gaining a clear understanding of the OSB manufacturing process. Area leads should drive our company’s safety culture, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. The Area Lead will be required to cover shifts at times in the absence of the shift supervisor and should have the desire and ability to develop into the next shift supervisor.
