Information

West Fraser built this campground in 2020 with the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation’s Cardinal River Reserve to strengthen relations and to discourage random camping on their land. The campground offers beautiful views of mountains and meadows and allows ATV/OHV use. There are seven sites available for reservation and the remaining 14 sites are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

There are numerous ATV trails in the area that are very popular. There is also fishing for cutthroat and bull trout in the adjacent Cardinal River.
