Plywood

• Well-suited to home construction and other building projects for structural and non-structural uses in both wet and dry service conditions, including sub-flooring, single-layer flooring, wall, roof and floor sheathing, structural insulated panels and concrete form work.
• As exterior wall and roof sheathing, plywood can provide resistance to lateral forces such as wind and earthquake loads, and form an integral component of the building envelope.
• Impact and water-resistant with more than 60 years of proven service as a structural panel for homes and construction. Our plywood products are highly stable panels even when exposed to moisture or humidity.
• Other industrial and commercial applications include furniture manufacturing, marine uses, crate and cargo packaging, pallets and signage.

STANDARD

West Fraser’s Standard certified grade Plywood is certified by Teco (independent third-party certification agency for building products) and is CSA approved. Our Standard Plywood is C grade face and C grade back and is highly impact-resistant it continues to perform even when wet, making it a popular building material. Readily absorbs preservatives making it a preferred choice for treaters.

• Plywood has high strength and stiffness values
• Excellent Fastener holding ability.  Fasteners can be placed near edges without splitting the panel
• When exposed to moisture or high humidity, plywood returns to its original dimensions when it dries
• Highly impact resistant
• T&G available in 5/8" and 3/4” for sub-floor applications

• Premium Sand available
• Available S1S (Sanded 1 Side) or S2S (Sanded 2 sides)

SELECT

West Fraser’s Select certified grade Plywood is certified by Teco (independent third-party certification agency for building products) and is CSA approved. Our Select Plywood has inner plies that meet C grade with the face meeting B grade. Utilized most often in floor underlayment and is highly impact-resistant it continues to perform even when wet, making it a popular building material.

CCPTS

West Fraser's CCPTS panels are plugged and touch-sanded and meet the PS-1 standard in the United States.

CCPTS panels are primarily used for industrial core applications such as cabinets, countertop underlayment's, display structures, furniture and commercial projects.
