West Fraser produces NBSK pulp at two mills, Hinton Pulp located in Hinton, Alberta and a joint-venture operation, Cariboo Pulp and Paper (CPP) located in Quesnel, BC.

Hinton Pulp is a modern, efficient facility that produces pulp known as Hinton Hi-Brite.  It is derived primarily from lodgepole pine and white spruce, and features long slender fibres that provide excellent bonding and superior forming qualities.

CPP is a modern and efficient mill.  It uses long slender lodgepole pine and white spruce fibres with high tensile strength that are blended with other interior fibres to create a uniquely balanced pulp.
