Since 1999 our plant in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta has been producing LVL with veneers peeled in-house from locally grown northern lodgepole pine.  This slow growth species has tight growth rings, small knots, high strength and less shrinking/swelling, which results in a strong stable product.
