Alberta Newsprint Company Scholarship Program
Alberta Newsprint Company offers a total of $4000.00 per year in scholarships for high school students graduating in the Whitecourt area.

Blue Ridge Lumber/Ranger Board Bursary Program
Blue Ridge Lumber will make available a $1000 Bursary (or two $500 bursaries) annually to high school graduates from the Sangudo, Mayerthorpe, Whitecourt area interested in pursuing a career in the forest products industry.

Chetwynd Forest Industries offers scholarships for graduate students of Chetwynd Secondary School, with maximum awards of up to $2500.00 per year.

Eurocan Pulp & Paper Co. Annual Scholarships and Junior Proficiency Award
Three scholarships of $1,000, gifts of Eurocan Pulp & Paper Co., a Division of West Fraser Mills Ltd., are awarded to each of three Grade 12 students graduating from Mount Elizabeth Secondary School and who are proceeding to further their education at a recognized institute of higher learning.

Pete Ketcham Memorial Scholarship Fund
The late Pete Ketcham, one of West Fraser Timber's three founding brothers, and until his passing in July, 1996, the company's Chairman, championed West Fraser's support of post secondary educational institutions.

Available to students from either Quesnel Secondary School or Correlieu Secondary School, Quesnel, BC.

Marvin Arneson Memorial Bursary
The Marvin Arneson Bursary is awarded yearly to a Graduate of a Slave Lake school. A Bursary of $1,000 will be awarded to a student who is planning to further his or her education at a Post-Secondary Institution.
