As a member of our supervisory team reporting to the General Manager, you will be required to look for opportunities to improve process control and optimize the LVL and veneer mill process.  Primary objectives will be to achieve plant wide performance targets, assist with new product development and provide sales support with product design and building code approvals.  Leadership and involvement is expected in plant wide continuous improvement teams, supervisory functions, and in troubleshooting, statistical process control and other process improvement tools.

This position will be of interest to individuals who have experience in a manufacturing environment with an established track record with respect to safety, productivity, cost control, and continuous improvement.  A minimum of five years experience would be an asset.  Proven interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a demonstrated capacity to lead an engaged team of peers will be essential requirements for the job.

Qualified applicants will possess a degree, diploma or equivalent in wood processing, forestery, engineering, science or manufacturing.
