Slave Lake Pulp, a Division of West Fraser Mills Ltd., operates a state-of-the-art aspen-based BCTMP pulp mill 225km NW of Edmonton and is seeking a Journeyman for the position of:
Full Time INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN
As a member of our Electrical-Instrumentation team your duties will include:
- Routine duties related to the demand & preventative work order system
- Calibration and tuning of Instruments to ISO 9001 standards.
- Optimising PLC and DCS performance.
- Involvement in scheduled shut-down planning & project work will be required.
- Maintenance, repair and installation of Instrumentation equipment and analyzers in a Pulp/Paper environment would be a major asset.
- Experience with Fisher Provox or Delta V DCS systems would also be an advantage.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 or GED.
- Class 5 drivers license.
- Alberta or Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Certificate.

- Some shift work may be required.
