WestPine MDF, a Division of West Fraser Mills Ltd in Quesnel, BC., has an opening for a Mechanical Coordinator.
Candidates should hold an Interprovincial Certificate or equivalent and have Supervisory experience. 

• Be responsible for the Mechanical department.
• Adhere to corporate and mill policies & procedures and the policies of the health & safety program.
• Handle capital project justification and implementation, reliability, preventative and predictive maintenance development and provide support to operational personnel.
• Develop and manage the entire maintenance budget as well as the 1 yr and 5 year Capital plans.
• Be responsible to maintain records, blueprints, drawings and information concerning plant operations.
• Process optimization, root cause failure analysis and equipment redesign & modifications.
• Oversee the coordination of contractor’s work to ensure they are following acceptable work standards.

The successful candidate must have strong communication & interpersonal skills, computer skills and a valid driver’s license. Pulp and paper industrial experience is an asset.
