ELECTRICIAN

This position requires an individual who will perform a variety of tasks related to the safe and efficient application of the technical skills and knowledge of an Electrician in the installation and repair and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems; to ensure the quality and standards of service to safety and production is maintained.

Our ideal Candidate must possess a Journeyman certificate (Alberta and/or Interprovincial), and has a good working knowledge of automated sawmill and planermill operations, computerized systems and is capable of operating associated computer programs, PLC knowledge is a definite asset. Shift work is a requirement. Good interpersonal and communication skills round out your qualifications.

Hinton, Alberta, is located just 20 minutes east of the Jasper National Park Gates and 2 ½ hours west of Edmonton. It is a modern community of 10,000 with excellent recreation, medical and educational facilities.
