| Electrician / Instrumentation Engineer |
In this role the successful candidate will report to the Engineering Superintendent. The E/I
Engineer’s primary role will be project management and detail design for mill capital projects.
The successful candidate will work with several mill area teams, providing electrical and
instrumentation assistance to production, maintenance and project engineering personnel and
all aspects of mill electrical engineering, including power distribution.
Consideration will be given to individuals with a strong background in E/I engineering in an
industrial environment.
Qualifications for the position are:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Eligibility for professional registration in B.C.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Experience with PLC and DCS controls, motor controls, high and medium voltage power
distribution and digitally controlled drives. Experience with Foxboro DCS and Allen-Bradley
PLC-5 would be an asset.
