Chasm Sawmills requires a Quality Control Supervisor.

As a member of our supervisory team reporting to the Plant Manager, you will assist in maintaining and improving productivity and grade. Leadership and involvement is expected in plant wide continuous improvement, supervisory functions, in troubleshooting, statistical process control and other process improvement tools.

This position will be of interest to individuals who are highly motivated and have experience in a manufacturing environment with an established track record with respect to safety, productivity, cost control, and continuous improvement. Proven interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a demonstrated capacity to lead will be essential requirements for the job.

Qualified applicants will have excellent computer skills and possess a degree, diploma or equivalent in wood processing, forestry, engineering, science or manufacturing or have optimization experience. A lumber grading ticket is a definite asset as well.

Chasm is located 15 minutes north of Clinton, BC.
