Our Woodlands Department has an opening for an Operations Supervisor. Initial responsibility will consist of assisting in the planning and supervision of a 300,000 m3/per year logging operation and associated programs. Other duties may include involvement in pre-harvest planning, supervision of road/bridge construction, reforestation projects and reclamation programs. The duties of this position also include responsibility for compliance with Operating Ground Rules, ISO and SFI programs, and health and safety programs.

Candidates must possess an RPF or RPFT designation for Alberta, or be eligible to earn this designation. Five years experience in an industrial forest setting is desirable. In addition, knowledge of Microsoft programs, GIS software, and database software, are all considered assets. You must be a highly motivated individual and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
