The successful applicant will possess Millwright trade certification.  Quesnel River Pulp applies the principals of job flexibility.  Additional trades certification would be a definite asset as well as proven competence and knowledge in the individual’s trade and willingness to broaden their exposure to a complete variety of mechanical work as required.

Proven competence, trouble shooting skills as well as proven experience in any of the following would be a definite asset:

  • Lubrication           
  • Hydraulics  
  • Pneumatics  
  • Pumps and piping
  • Conveyors
  • Welding and burning
  • Fabrication
  • Machining

The successful applicant will be required to work shifts when assigned.  Attention to safety and efficiency as well as a valid BC driver’s license are necessary.
